This straight-to-video series began the whole Tenchi craze
in North America and Japan. All the Tenchi series depict the
main characters meeting in very different ways, but this is
the first time we meet them. There are only two OVA series released.
It is considered by many to be the best of the Tenchi saga,
in terms of graphics and story. I'd have to say that I would
agree with such an assessment, although I really liked the TV
series as well.

We've uploaded the first 4 episodes of the TV
series in RealVideo format, so that some of you surfers who
can't watch it on the Cartoon Network for some reason
can experience some Tenchi =). They are 320x240, using a 225kbps
bitrate for encoding, but the quality is good. You will need
WinRAR to decompress the
files once all five files have been downloaded. The episodes
were encoded using RealProducer 8;
you *might* need to upgrade your ReaPlayer version to view
this episode. Sorry for the inconvenience =(. Total file size
is roughly 40mb or so, so it's not too big. This episode was
made from the subtitled video so the dialogue is in Japanese,
Yay!
These videos are for demo purposes only, to get people
to buy the original. Please delete them from your hard-drive
once you have viewed them. Arigato! Eventually
we hope to have other episodes available for download, so

Tenchi In Tokyo is a totally seperate TV
series with a different plot, but similar characters in the
Tenchi Universe. The animators who did this series are different
from the ones who did the original series, so they all look
quite different.
